Tutoring

My specialism for tutoring is the AQA Economics A Level course, although I have taught and tutored other specifications and some university-level content.

I work with students who are prepared to work independently outside sessions. My approach to tutoring is not to teach the whole course, but to swiftly diagnose gaps in a student’s learning and to use effective questioning to fill those gaps, to empower students with a strategy to help them to consolidate the material and then to give specific, targeted feedback on assessed work to help them improve their exam skills and maximise their scores.
